The World of David Morris

Slipcase reverse and (below) a detail of one of the collaged ‘sketchbook’ pages

The first monograph on the eponymous jewellery house David Morris (est. 1962).

Specializing in the most-prized gemstones, from Colombian emeralds to sapphires found in the remote hills of Kashmir, David Morris celebrates colour, flawless craftsmanship, and unique creativity in jewellery design. The house’s creations—now overseen by his son Jeremy Morris—are all designed and handcrafted to exacting standards in the New Bond Street atelier.

The book was designed to reflect the sumptuous creations of the jewellery house, with cloth-bound boards and slipcase. The monograph features newly commissioned photography and gouache studies, imaginatively showing the transformations of these gemstones into unique art objects.
